Privacy notice

This privacy notice tells you how personal data is processed in connection with the website maddy.support and the services offered through it.

1. Controller

The operator of the website maddy.support is responsible for the processing of personal data under Swiss data protection law.

2. Website visits and technical data

When you visit the website, the hosting provider (GitHub Pages) and the DNS/CDN infrastructure (Cloudflare) process technically necessary server log data. This may include in particular:

• IP address
• Date and time of access
• page / file retrieved
• browser type and operating system (if sent by the browser)
• referrer URL (if sent)

Processing is for the technical provision and security of the website. Maddy.support does not evaluate this data for marketing or tracking. No cookies are set for analytics or advertising, and no consent banner is used.

3. Fonts

The fonts on this website are served locally from our own server (GitHub Pages). Loading the pages does not open a connection to Google or any other external font provider.

4. Contact by email

If you contact us by email, we process the details you send (in particular email address, name, content of the message) to handle your request and for further communication.

5. Enquiries via the forms

Enquiry forms are available on the Community, Business and Clash File pages. On submit, the details are sent via the external service FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) to kontakt@maddy.support. FormSubmit processes the details to forward the enquiry. According to FormSubmit, submitted entries may remain archived there for up to 30 days; further notes are in the FormSubmit privacy notice (PDF) and in the FormSubmit documentation. A processing location is not claimed here, because it is not clearly established from the publicly available information.

Please do not send confidential details or confidential documents through the forms.

Community and Business — data collected:

• requested package (optional)
• short description of the support needed
• confirmation of the privacy notice

Clash File — data collected:

• Name
• your firm
• business email address
• name of the target firm
• website of the target firm
• country or competent commercial register
• date of the planned first meeting (optional)
• concrete question or known inconsistency (optional)
• confirmation that only publicly available sources are to be reviewed
• confirmation of the privacy notice

Purpose of processing: handling the enquiry, communication and, where relevant, preparing a business relationship. Sending the form is without obligation and not yet a paid order.

If transmission via FormSubmit fails technically, the website falls back to the local email client via mailto: with the details already entered. In that case the data are not forwarded via FormSubmit, but appear in the draft email to kontakt@maddy.support.

6. Retention and deletion

Personal data are kept only as long as needed for the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention duties. Enquiries and correspondence are as a rule deleted or anonymised once handling is complete and no legitimate interests or legal duties stand in the way of deletion.

7. Disclosure to third parties

Personal data are disclosed to third parties only where this is required for operating the website, communication or meeting legal duties (e.g. hosting, DNS/CDN). Form transmission uses the external form service FormSubmit; details are in section 5. There is no transfer for advertising.

8. Rights of data subjects

Under applicable Swiss data protection law you have in particular the right to:

• access the personal data processed
• rectification of inaccurate data
• deletion, unless statutory retention duties stand in the way
• restriction of processing
• objection to processing, where applicable

9. Changes

This privacy notice may be adjusted where needed, in particular if the website or the services offered change. The version published on this page is the one that applies.
